A Christmas Thank You (and a Quiet Celebration of You)

The week before Christmas always makes me reflect — not on what we didn’t get done, but on what we did.
The sessions we showed up for. The mornings we moved our bodies even when motivation was low. The moments we chose care over chaos. And honestly? I’m so proud of you.
I also want to take a moment to say a huge thank you.
To my PT clients — thank you for your trust, your effort, and your commitment (especially on the days you didn’t feel like it, but you came anyway).
To my Pilates participants — my regulars and the holiday-makers who drop in while they’re on Kos — thank you for bringing your energy, your consistency, and your willingness to learn and grow.To my retreat guests — thank you for choosing yourself, and for being brave enough to step away from “normal life” and into something that supports your wellbeing.
To my retreat hosts — thank you for the care you put into what you do. I see the behind-the-scenes work, the attention to detail, and the heart you bring to creating truly meaningful experiences. And to everyone who has recently joined the Retreats in Greece community — welcome. I’m so grateful you’re here.
To my walking group — thank you for the chats, the laughter, and for showing up week after week and reminding me how powerful simple movement and community can be.
Because making your wellness a priority isn’t a small thing.
It’s a decision you make again and again. Sometimes it looks like strength training and building confidence in your body. Sometimes it’s Pilates — reconnecting with your breath, your posture, your core, and leaving class feeling more like yourself. Sometimes it’s booking a retreat and giving yourself permission to reset. And sometimes it’s simply staying connected to a community that reminds you what matters.
Whatever your version was this year, I hope you take a moment over the next few days to look back at everything you’ve achieved — including the wins that don’t show up on a scale or a to-do list.
The strength you’ve built
The consistency you’ve practised
The way you’ve shown up for yourself
The mindset shifts
The confidence
The calm
The resilience
And as we move into a new year, I hope you also look forward — not with pressure, but with possibility.
Because you’re not the same person you were at the start of this year. You’ve grown. You’ve learned. You’ve become. And I can’t wait to keep supporting you as you continue to grow into the amazing person you’re becoming.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for being part of this journey with me.
Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a New Year filled with health, balance, and moments that feel like you.
With love,
Gilly
